Call for AEIRS Nominations

 

Nominations for the 2025-2026 AEIRS election are now open and will continue through January 12, 2025.  The following positions will be filled by election: President-Elect, and Director-at-Large.

 

• President-Elect: Any active AEIRS members who has previously served as a member of the AEIRS Board of Directors is eligible to serve as President-Elect. The term of service is three years for this position (one year each as President-Elect, President, and Chair of the Board).

• Secretary/Treasurer: Any active AEIRS member, who has served as Chair of an AEIRS committee or has served as a member of a Board of Directors/Trustees of a state or national imaging or radiologic sciences association is eligible to serve as Secretary/Treasurer. The term of service is two years for this position.

• Director-at-Large: Any active AEIRS member is eligible to serve as Director-at-Large.  The term of service is three years for this position.

 

Are you interested in and ready to take on an AEIRS leadership role?  AEIRS values the leadership potential of all members from all areas of expertise and at all levels of experience.  AEIRS welcomes those who are interested and qualified. Self-nominate or nominate a colleague for one of the open positions.  AEIRS values diversity, including geographical diversity, on the Board of Directors, as we represent medical imaging and radiologic science educators internationally.

This nomination process also allows AEIRS to identify and mentor future association leaders.  We are a voluntary operation, and this is a great way for you to become more involved with the wonderful people in this organization.

Each position has unique commitments and responsibilities.  As a board member, you will give time, expertise, and will collaborate, network, and gain valuable experience.
