NON-MEMBER Registration - AEIRS 2022 Annual Meeting

Greetings AEIRS Members! 

2022 is here so it’s time to plan your summer trip to the AEIRS Annual Meeting. Plan early and make arrangements to bring your family! The Annual Meeting will be held on Thursday and Friday, July 7th and 8th, at The Hyatt Regency in Louisville, KY. Enjoy the fun night life on 4th street in downtown Louisville.  Other area attractions for everyone are Kentucky’s legendary horse racing venue, Kentucky Kingdom, Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory, Louisville Zoo, Kentucky Science Center, and the award-winning Muhammed Ali Center.

On Wednesday, July 6th, the JRCERT is planning to offer an Accreditation Workshop in the morning and a Site Visitor Workshop in the afternoon. These great opportunities from the JRCERT will be followed by the AEIRS Welcome Reception.

 Just like past Annual meetings, the AEIRS Annual Meeting will have something for everyone who attends. There will be a variety of speakers with topics that should interest educators and technologists from all disciplines. 12 ARRT Category A CE credits will be available.    

VOLUNTEER 

Once again, we need volunteers to serve in several capacities.  We need room moderators, assistance at the registration desk, and help with the silent auction. These duties take but a little time and make a deep impact on the success of our meeting. Please consider now how you could best be used at the meeting and let us know immediately of your willingness to volunteer. SILENT AUCTION 

As is tradition with our in person Annual Meetings, , there will once again be a silent auction available for you to donate to or to bid on.   All monies raised through the Silent Auction will go towards grant, scholarship, sponsorship opportunities or general operating funds.  If you wish to donate, please download the Silent Auction Donation Form at https://www.aeirs.org/louisville-ky.  

EDUCATOR CELEBRATION EVENT  **Currently only accepting waitlist reservations at technicalsupport@aeirs.org**

New and exciting to this year’s Annual Meeting will be an Educator Celebration Event, sponsored by Clover Learning on Thursday evening. The event will be a true Louisville experience at Rabbit Hole Distillery. Join your fellow educators for an evening of Southern Food and a cocktail sampling.  Bus transportation to and from the distillery will be provided. It will help with planning if you could RSVP your attendance and if a guest (+1) is attending with you.

AIRPORT INFORMATION

The airport code is SDF, which is the Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (formerly Louisville International Airport).

TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION

From the airport, you will want to use a taxi or a ride share ap. The hotel does not offer a shuttle. The hotel is 5 miles from the airport; roughly a 15-minute drive.

PARKING

Parking is self-parking in the attached city garage.

Parking is $20 per vehicle per 24-hour period if charged to guest room.    This allows unlimited in and out privileges.

Note:  There is an option to pay at the kiosk every time you depart the garage, which would be at the prevailing amount owed based on time the vehicle was in the garage.
